Sauvage is an endless score. Its incredibly dense composition is shaped with subtle nuances to create unique flashes of light. For Sauvage Parfum, I imagined the impact when intense freshness meets the smooth depth of an oriental. I maintained the powerful soul of Sauvage by giving it nocturnal accents, an animal attraction and rounder facets.

His Bergamot is a whirlwind of juicy freshness that seems to sweep up everything in its path. Drenched in the Calabrian sun, it is fruitier and develops unique, slightly peppery and zesty facets. For Sauvage Parfum, it welcomes a plump Mandarin note that lends it a fruitier, rounder quality.
• VIRGINIAN CEDAR AND SANDALWOOD ESSENCE FROM SRI LANKA: Sri Lankan Sandalwood essence heightens and envelops the entire composition. This dense, addictive wood unleashes the full power of its milky, creamy accords. Its almost "hormonal" note is enchanting, joined by Virginian Cedar that surprises with an unexpected "jammy" raspberry facet.

  Sourced from a Sri Lankan plantation that has worked with Dior for over 10 years, the Sandalwood in Sauvage Parfum boasts rich nuances and exceptional qualities derived from special farming practices. A difficult plant to cultivate, it is supervised during the early stages of growth and then 'released' into a totally wild plantation where nature takes its course. In this harsh, natural environment with no human intervention, each tree pursues its growth, battling to spread its branches and thrive, sometimes reaching 100 years of age and growing over 12 meters tall! This is what creates the unique olfactory qualities of the rare, powerful and rich Sandalwood essence of Sauvage.
